The sixth brightest star in the sky, Capella's name is from the Latin for little she-goat. Capella is a yellow giant star, like our own sun, but much larger. It is part of a binary star sysem with a red giant star. The two orbit around each other once every 104 days. Capella is approximately 41 light-years from earth. Capella is in the constellation
