Here's a fun tour of our solar system. The author uses the names of the planets to compare them to the gods and goddesses whom they are named after and finds some great similarities. Great book for aspiring astronomers.
DK By: Heather Couper Nigel Henbest -- DK provides great books and this is no exception. As its name implies, it's an encyclopedia with many great descriptions and images. I use this book, myself for a quick look at certain terms.
Houghton Mifflin Company By: H. A. Rey -- How could the author of the Curious George books fail to write a wonderful book for kids. This book is a must for any young astronomer's library.
By: Patrick Moore (Editor), Leif Robinson -- This is an easy to use, yet resourceful book for any budding astronomer. No library should be without it.
By: Gregory L. Matloff, Grefory Matloff -- This is the perfect companion to your young person's telescope. It provides detailed instructions for a number of activities.
By: Tish Rabe Aristides Ruiz (Illustrator) Created by Dr Seuss -- Using some of his best loved characters, Dr. Seuss takes you on a magical trip around the solar system. This is a fun book for kids of all ages, while being educational at the same time.
By: Terence Dickinson - John Bianchi (Illustrator) -- Terence Dickinson is a great writer, with a number of astronomy books available for adults. This is an excellent work for youngsters as well.

By: H. A. Rey -- From the author of the Curious George series of books, this is a delghtful loo at the constellations. I highly recomend it for any youngster curious about the night sky.
This is a wonderful way to look at constellations. Christina Balit is a great artist and kids will love her work. I highly recommend this book for your young astronomers.
